Crist Creates Office of Open Government

He made two appointments likely to be greeted with applause by supporters of open government: Pat Gleason, Director of Cabinet Affairs and Special Counsel for Open Government and JoAnn Carrin, Director of Open Government. Ms. Gleason is the expert on getting agencies to comply with the state’s Sunshine Laws. Ms. Carrin is also well-respected by press types for her frankness and quick, helpful responses.
