Today the state Senate awarded the University of Florida quarterback with the medallion of excellence. Tebow, who apart from winning college football?s highest honor, also has a 3.6 grade point average, says he wants Florida?s youth to follow his example.<\/p>\n

?There are a lot of role models in football, but there are not a lot of good role models. My hope and my prayer is for my self is to be a good role model that parents can say I want my kid to be like that,? said Tebow. <\/p>\n
