This represents 970,000 jobless out of a labor force of 9,192,000. <\/span>The unemployment rate is 0.3 percentage point higher than the revised May rate of 10.3 percent and is up 4.6 percentage points from the June 2008 rate. <\/span>The state?s current unemployment rate is 1.1 percentage points higher than the national unemployment rate of 9.5 percent. <\/span>The last time the unemployment rate was higher than June 2009 was October 1975 when it was 11.0 percent.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
